Bowers & Wilkins 802D teflon feet modification

If your 802D's are standing on a wooden floor, you may be annoyed by :

- using the original rollers. Their hard metal balls will mark the soft floor.

- using the optional spikes. They will hurt the floor even harder.

- removing the rollers and just having the speaker's aluminum plinths on the floor. This way you can hardly move them because of their weight and the friction it causes on the floor (plus you still risk marking the floor).

Until recently I have been going an intermediate way, with the rollers removed, the speaker's aluminum plinths standing on an intermediate medium custom made plate. But this was still unoptimal, both unpleasant on the eye, raising the already tall speakers even more, and not making it really easy to move them.

Thus I decided to remove the medium plates and add teflon (PTFE) feet to the speaker's roller cages.
